Dantex Group revealed a host of new developments at Labelexpo Americas 2024. Visitors witnessed first-hand the latest advancements in the company’s PicoJet Digital Resolution System (DRS), which in addition to the latest enhancements in color gamut capabilities, are set to redefine the digital UV inkjet printing landscape, the company says.

Featuring eight grey levels and providing 2400 dpi – marking the first time in the industry that a digital inkjet system has reached this level of precision – PicoJet DRS has been designed to set new standards in the digital inkjet printing world. The technology increases print quality and detail, positioning the PicoJet DRS in the label and flexible packaging space.

“We are thrilled to bring these groundbreaking innovations to Labelexpo Americas 2024,” said Ben Danon, CEO of Dantex Group. “The PicoJet DRS truly empowers digital with our advancements in color gamut capabilities and also now utilizing eight grey levels is truly revolutionary. We’re pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in digital UV inkjet printing. These developments underscore our commitment to innovation and excellence, and we are excited to share them with the industry.”

In addition to the PicoJet DRS developments, Dantex has revealed its latest advancements in color gamut, setting a new benchmark for digital UV inkjet printing. Dantex has achieved 99% of the color gamut with a Delta E of 3, ensuring enhanced color accuracy and consistency. With a Delta E of 2, the company continues to push the boundaries of color precision, covering 97.5% of the color gamut. Utilizing CMYK WOVG, Dantex’s 8-color printing press achieves high color accuracy due to its software suite, which when combined with Dantex’s printing technologies creates an excellent result that embodies UV digital inkjet label printing.

With Dantex’s PicoJet 1200 digital inkjet technology a highlight at Labelexpo Americas, attendees observed live demonstrations that showcase the print quality and versatility of the press. This highly productive and affordable printing solution is ideal for short to long runs with no minimum quantity, minimal waste and super-fast turnaround times. The modular design is available as either reel-to-reel or a true hybrid press with inline finishing capabilities. Modular station options include flexo, diecut, cold foil, lamination, edge trim, back scoring and rotary or shear slitting. In addition, PicoCenta and PicoPilot workflow automation software with a touchscreen interface add to a user-friendly experience. Customers can also benefit from Pico’s SuperWhite, offering inkjet white at an opacity of 92% in a single pass, as well as SuperText and SuperTactile technologies.

To complete its offering, the Dantex team was also on-hand to promote the company’s extensive range of plate processing and cleaning equipment, letterpress and flexo plate materials, along with tapes and sleeves.
